Eyes Lies and Illusions!
Eyes Lies and Illusions, an exhibition at the Australian Centre for
the Moving Image in Melbourne which invites visitors to journey to a
dark and mysterious word where nothing seen is what it seems. The exhibition
features rare optical toys and puzzles, dancing skeletons, magic lanterns
and beachside slot machines featuring exotic dancers - all illustrating
our fascination with the moving image even before the invention of the
cinema. The exhibition closes on Sunday 11 February.
